A B Graphic International (ABG) is continuing its push into the flexible packaging market, building on a wave of trade show activity, technology demonstrations, and strategic leadership appointments.

Fresh off a strong showing at Labelexpo Europe, the finishing equipment specialist showcased its growing FlexPack portfolio at two major European exhibitions: FachPack in Nürnberg and the K Show in Düsseldorf. The events provided a platform for ABG to demonstrate its engineering capabilities in flexible packaging applications, including shrink sleeves and pouch production.

At FachPack, visitors saw ABG’s shrink-sleeve Seaming Rewinder in operation, with technical experts highlighting how the system ensures high-quality seam integrity and efficient changeovers. Meanwhile, at the K Show, the Galaxy GS-24 TSG pouch-making machine attracted strong interest for its precision, versatility, and suitability for a range of flexible packaging formats.

The demonstrations underscore ABG’s strategy of integrating its print finishing expertise with Galaxy’s pouch-making technology—a combination that has strengthened ABG’s position in the rapidly developing flexible packaging space.

Further signaling its long-term commitment to this segment, ABG has appointed Vicky Roberts as Global Business Development Sales Lead for ABG FlexPack. In this role, Roberts will lead customer engagement and global sales initiatives while supporting continued product development and market expansion.

ABG is also preparing to open its FlexPack Centre of Excellence in Girona, Spain, where it will host live demonstrations of the Galaxy GS-20 pouch-making machine on October 22–23. The event will offer converters an up-close look at pouch production and feature direct access to ABG and Galaxy’s technical teams.

“The response to our FlexPack offering across Labelexpo, FachPack, and the K Show has been outstanding,” said Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director. “With a dedicated team, a global sales lead in place, and our new Centre of Excellence in Girona, we’re in a fantastic position to accelerate growth in this market. The interest we’ve seen confirms that our customers are ready for innovative, high-quality flexible packaging solutions—and ABG is ready to deliver them.”

ABG’s expanding FlexPack division reflects a broader industry trend of label converters diversifying into adjacent packaging formats as demand for short-run, value-added flexible packaging continues to rise.
